an incredibly fun project which topped off an even more exciting and fun year of jazz with some of the grooviest people i know. we hope you enjoy this as much as we enjoyed playing it.

Each track includes Zach Barnes on keyboard, Corey Hepner on bass, MS on drums, and Gus Martini on guitar. All recordings were made possible by WVKC studios and staff. Due to a recording and transmission error, Gus' guitar track on "Intersectionality" and "Mr. Sir" became corrupted. As such, they are missing from the recording, forever lost to the work computer of WVKC Studio at Knox College. MS re-recorded the vibraphone solo over the track on "Intersectionality" in place of the silence. (We hope you can understand.)

A special thanks to the recording session engineer, Justin Bell. A special thanks to audio engineer MS. Thank you to all instrumentalists and composers for laying it down: thank you for the creative groove sciences of Corey, without whom this project would not have happened. A unique thanks to the texturing and rhythmic consistency of Gus, whose spirits and experimentation added so much. Enormous thanks to the melodydramatic mind of Zach, whose compositions and solos exploded over the tracks. A warm thanks to Lindsay Smith, whose repertoire and skill as a musician combined with her sanguine perseverance as a person pushed this group toward new sounds and inspirations. If we could record again, surely you would be on it. (But you ended up getting your own recording anyway!) Thanks to you all for bringing your energies together to create this project. Sorry to keep you all waiting!
